Jahna Sebastian : ‘For generations to come, that you were actually creating something that meant a part of the description of the era of the time, so that people could look into that, like, ‘Yeah, I know about that, that’s a stamp of those times, that place, thank you for sharing it’. But if it’s just random stuff, then nobody can relate to it.
GV : Year, kids are not gonna care if you get a hundred likes
Jahna Sebastian : Yes, we’re here to create longevity, to create stories and take you on a journey, and as I said, it’s just like in my album: we are putting legends on the map. It’s not just thinking that not caring is the way, it’s about opening your eyes and realizing that the everyday people can put legends on the map, they are the legends they can be, that if you really put your mind to it and it exercise your potential, that’s what it’s about.
GV: As soon as you say that, I’m thinking it’s not been just about re-inspiring the artists nowadays, it’s re-inspiring the listeners too. I think, may be the listeners lost their inspiration or lost their sense of feeling like they put that artist up there. It’s more like, they’ve been given artists to choose from. We have to re-inspire the listeners, so we can re-inspire the artists.
Jahna Sebastian: Yes, we have to totally create that change because now it the time, we are at crossroads of history, actually right now with all this technology.

Multi-talented recording artist, visionary and music producer Jahna Sebastian releases the visuals for her new single 'Midnight Dancer'. Midnight Dancer is off her critically acclaimed album, The Alchemist. The album is now available on iTunes, Tidal and all digital stores. The project was a one woman project, everything created was done by Ms. Sebastian. The album features beats that you can dance to in the club and at festivals while listening to a powerful message at the same time.
The video for 'Midnight Dancer' was filmed, directed and edited by Alex Riley. 'Midnight Dancer' was written, recorded, produced, arranged and mixed by Ms. Sebastian at her studio Multivizion Music. The video treatment and concept was written by Ms. Sebastian. The electrifying music video is set in post apocalyptic 2045, the timeline that many western futurologists like to set as the date for complete technological singularity, which is literally the black hole of progress for humanity, beyond which humanity can lose control over the course of history as the AI can become more powerful than humans. Ms. Sebastian stated, "I am showing that there is another way. In fact in the video, I am one of the free people, while the guy represents a person, who's stuck in the room, dying, his body is weak, his mind is cluttered, he can barely breathe, the contrast shows the difference being true understanding of yourself as a human and putting trust into the system of machines. We as humanity are at crossroads of history and right now it is more important than ever to understand, that humans should focus on self-development, rather than running a race in developing an artificial intelligence that will have no personal need for humanity at all. To be the change you want to see in the world and society, you have to look within. I strongly believe that humans can change within and we can achieve a better worldwide society if the focus is on developing human mind and understanding the power of it, let's set the priorities straight. "
When asked what was the concept of the video, Ms. Sebastian states, "The video is focusing on bringing forth the idea of immortality of the soul vs a promise to attain illusionary immortality by uploading a copy of human consciousness to global AI server. It raises the question of what is true immortality vs illusionary promised immortality under delusions of trust into the power of machines and shows the danger of putting all faith into the man made super powerful AI, while not even understanding the consequences. Developing machines, rather than human mind, creating false virtual reality instead of understanding the purpose of humans being on Earth. It's a dead end for any human which is symbolized by the skull in the box in the video, while at the end the sight of heaven shows the alternative as transcending into eternal life, going on a higher level, not being 'stuck in the box', showing there is another way and also symbolizes possibility of a human soul to go to the source of light, the next step. However, if quiet literally stuck in a box in the material world with a version of the self completely uploaded to a machine, it loses the connection and possibility to continue, while becoming a sacrifice surrendering to be controlled by global computer system. Many people are ready to do this voluntarily, but before going to the point of no return, why not raise the question first to understand it? The answers are right there, if you look deep within. It also raises philosophical questions about our existence as humans in the current times. This is the beginning of the Way of the Alchemist. It is the foundation to the stories to come.
During the live stream Ms. Sebastian discussed each song to all her fans around the world. The live stream was a success as many of her followers tuned in and expressed positive feedback for her new album. Ms. Sebastian wore her The Alchemist tee shirt during the live stream, the design of the tee shirt is actually the artwork for the cover art of her album. The artwork is a portrait drawn by artist Ainur Timergaliev. Ms. Sebastian also wore earrings by designer Biblos Glasgow, whom she has collaborated with on many projects including her pioneering ‘Poetic Fashion Story’ where she is seen wearing The Opulent Queen collection by Biblos Glasgow. She recently wrote a poem of 13 verses to tell the story in the pictures. Biblos Glasgow as well as many others is a part of Ms. Sebastian’s movement. Model and influencer Diane Jordan was a special guest at the studio with Ms. Sebastian. She wore a tee shirt with the artwork for Ms. Sebastian’s smash single ‘Aftermath’ from The Alchemist.
During the live stream her video ‘Fearless’ was featured. The video was directed and edited by Alex Riley. When asked what ‘Fearless’ is about Ms. Sebastian stated, “In this important historical time, this song is about having no fear to speak out, to live your life to the fullest and not under mental slavery, search the truth and to go on a journey with a like minded partner or people even if it’s risky but is fully freeing and representing the truth. Holding on to comfort wouldn’t save you, if you know the change is in your hands’ is from the song lyrics “.
