International Artist Jahna Sebastian Releases Electrifying Visuals for New Single 'Midnight Dancer'

Multi-talented recording artist, visionary and music producer Jahna Sebastian releases the visuals for her new single 'Midnight Dancer'. Midnight Dancer is off her critically acclaimed album, The Alchemist. The album is now available on iTunes, Tidal and all digital stores. The project was a one woman project, everything created was done by Ms. Sebastian. The album features beats that you can dance to in the club and at festivals while listening to a powerful message at the same time. The video for 'Midnight Dancer' was filmed, directed and edited by Alex Riley. 'Midnight Dancer' was written, recorded, produced, arranged and mixed by Ms. Sebastian at her studio Multivizion Music. The video treatment and concept was written by Ms. Sebastian. The electrifying music video is set in post apocalyptic 2045, the timeline that many western futurologists like to set as the date for complete technological singularity, which is literally the black hole of progress for humanity, beyond which humanity can lose control over the course of history as the AI can become more powerful than humans. Ms. Sebastian stated, "I am showing that there is another way. In fact in the video, I am one of the free people, while the guy represents a person, who's stuck in the room, dying, his body is weak, his mind is cluttered, he can barely breathe, the contrast shows the difference being true understanding of yourself as a human and putting trust into the system of machines. We as humanity are at crossroads of history and right now it is more important than ever to understand, that humans should focus on self-development, rather than running a race in developing an artificial intelligence that will have no personal need for humanity at all. To be the change you want to see in the world and society, you have to look within. I strongly believe that humans can change within and we can achieve a better worldwide society if the focus is on developing human mind and understanding the power of it, let's set the priorities straight. " When asked what was the concept of the video, Ms. Sebastian states, "The video is focusing on bringing forth the idea of immortality of the soul vs a promise to attain illusionary immortality by uploading a copy of human consciousness to global AI server. It raises the question of what is true immortality vs illusionary promised immortality under delusions of trust into the power of machines and shows the danger of putting all faith into the man made super powerful AI, while not even understanding the consequences. Developing machines, rather than human mind, creating false virtual reality instead of understanding the purpose of humans being on Earth. It's a dead end for any human which is symbolized by the skull in the box in the video, while at the end the sight of heaven shows the alternative as transcending into eternal life, going on a higher level, not being 'stuck in the box', showing there is another way and also symbolizes possibility of a human soul to go to the source of light, the next step. However, if quiet literally stuck in a box in the material world with a version of the self completely uploaded to a machine, it loses the connection and possibility to continue, while becoming a sacrifice surrendering to be controlled by global computer system. Many people are ready to do this voluntarily, but before going to the point of no return, why not raise the question first to understand it? The answers are right there, if you look deep within. To be continued ... " The video's strength lies in the cinematography, concept, and wardrobe. The video captures the essence and vibe of 'Midnight Dancer' perfectly. Ms. Sebastian did an amazing job with the treatment and the song truly comes alive. Ms. Sebastian's styling gave a futuristic look with the metal jewelry by Biblos Glasgow. Poetic Fashion Story The Opulent Queen collection Jahna Sebastian & designer Biblos Glasgow

Singer, songwriter, producer, and model Jahna Sebastian is a woman of many talents. Her passion for creativity and fashion inspired her to collaborate with designer Biblos Glasgow for her new collection ‘The Opulent Queen.’  Ms. Sebastian pioneered a new concept that she titled ‘Poetic Fashion Story’ where
she writes a poem to describe each image of a shoot. This is a new
innovative concept that is a mix of fashion and poetry where a model
brings the photos to life with words. Ms. Sebastian wrote a poem to
express the photos she modeled.  This is a new way of an artist and
designer collaboration that brings a true vision to life. This
innovative shoot is the first of its kind and Ms. Sebastian is once
again ahead of the curve in this iconic, brilliantly shot photoshoot.
Ms. Sebastian stated that the collection truly connected with her. The
shoot was shot by celebrity photographer Amit Bansal. Journalist Serena Hussain conducted a special interview with Deborah Glasgow about her work as a designer and the collection during the shoot.

The shoot goes along with her upcoming album ‘The Alchemist’, she
wrote a song that was inspired by the photo shoot. The theme of
transformation for the ‘The Opulent Queen’ is following the theme of her
album ‘The Alchemist’.

When asked what was her inspiration for the shoot and how it all
came together Ms. Sebastian stated,  “As a creative I am introducing a
brand new revolutionary way of collaborating with designers. It’s a
Poetic Photo Story. This is a completely new concept I came up with by
being inspired by visuals as an artist. I am a visionary and this is how
my brain operates. Deborah Glasgow wanted to do a story through
pictures, a story of transformation from a woman who lost herself and
found her inner Queen. I hope that many women can relate to the story
and the self discovery that the metaphorical Opulent Queen in the poem
does. I wrote it down in a poetic way to describe each picture. This is
Jahna Sebastian’s Lyrical Fashion. This photo shoot is meant to inspire,
empower and uplift women around the world to show to discover the
strength in all of us, the Queen in every woman. Through collaboration
with designers, I as an artist create fashion with meaning. A picture
speaks a thousand words, but I also add words to multiply the impact of
the picture.”
