In recent interview, Common spoke about Barack Obama, and explained why he thinks hip hop will become less materialistic in times of recession. I agree, music has it's spiritual purpose other than talking about money and cars, and that's when it becomes really powerful. I told ya a couple of months ago, that soon bling bling talk will become less relevant and we'll need more real music because of the state of the world's economy st the moment.
